Happy Sunday everybody! This post is meant to serve as a reminder that IT IS ALREADY DONE!! Whatever you may be worrying about, praying about, upset about, or afraid of – it is ALL already taken care of. There is NOTHING too big for God. He has the power to fix any situation we may be struggling with. Not only does He have the power to fix it, but somewhere in your future, it is already done. See, sometimes we get so caught up on what we can see and what we can understand, but we are only human! The Bible says to “trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” Proverbs 3:5-6. Just because we may not know how to handle certain challenges and just because we can’t seem to find any solutions, doesn’t mean God is limited to that same human capacity. He is omniscient which means He knows all and see’s all. He has our futures planned out and He has our best interest at heart.
You may be saying “if it’s already done, why hasn’t it happened yet?”. Well, God does not work on our timing. He does what He wants, when He see’s fit, and His timing is perfect. The next time you try to rush God, just know that there is a reason He hasn’t made the big reveal yet. There is a reason He is taking His time to do that thing in your life. Maybe He is preparing you for the new season that’s coming in your life. Maybe He’s preparing another person that’s involved in the situation. Maybe He’s opening the perfect position for you but the employers don’t even know that there is about to be a vacancy. Or maybe He’s waiting on you to overcome the current season He has you in before promoting you to greater. There are so many reasons He may be taking His time, but you have to trust the process and learn to appreciate the process. He will never give us more than we can handle, so you can best believe if He’s telling you to move or to be still, it’s for a reason.
The key is to trust God. If you’re having a hard time trusting Him, it may be helpful to spend some time reflecting back on different times in your life when He has been there for you. Begin to express gratitude even for the small things He has done for you and for others around you. Think about the blessings, the times He’s come through for you, the times He’s blessed you even when you didn’t deserve it, the times He’s forgiven you for your mistakes, the doors He’s closed for good reason and the new doors He’s opened. This may sound a little cliché, but He did not bring you this far to leave you. There is a purpose for your life!
Find peace in knowing that His plans for us are perfect. Even if we get off track, move too soon, remain stuck due to fear, or we are just completely disobedient – God will still be there for us. It may take a little longer for the pieces to fall into place, but have faith that the pieces will indeed fall into place at the right time. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged. Ask God to order your steps. Ask Him to help you fight this battle. Ask Him to help you be strong and endure while He fights this for you. Ask Him to give you the courage to move forward. Ask Him for healing or to work in the lives of your loved ones. Ask God to make a way even when it seems like there is no way. Ask God to help you overcome whatever it is your dealing with. And when you pray these things, make sure you believe in what you’re praying. You have to believe He is going to take care of it.
Do not worry about anything, but instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 NLT
Faith Check: How is your faith currently? Do you have more fear than you do faith? Are you letting fear guide your life or is faith in control? What can you do today to increase your faith?
Thanks for reading. I pray this encourages to remain hopeful. Don’t Give Up.
